Her name s Larali and she just turned 2 and I gave her kisses and she giggled so I gave her more kisses then she wanted to RIDE me butt I was wearing my backpack so she couldn't so I gave her more kisses!! It was awesome meeting a kid!

ReplyDeleteDude, I wish you knew how much you mean to those kiddos...and to me. There is nothing more beautiful than to hear a child's laugh or to see them love a dog...these fotos just melted my heart. Geez, I thinks I is gettin' all mushy (stop it Puddles!)

This is such a sweet article and great publicity for therapy dogs generally. Wish our local schools had a similar program - but our school board has actually banned all class pets and animals out of misguided concerns about allergies and diseases. So sad.

This is wonderful and the recognition is so well deserved. What beautiful photos! I know there are certain things you remember as a kid and you carry them with you your whole life. I imagine reading to Bert will be with this kiddos forever. What a lovely thing you and Bert do.

Way to go Bert! I'm a tutor and sometimes I have had my students read to my cat, Spiderman, who also loves being read to. Spidey is not interested in math lessons, but when the reading books come out, he comes running.
